Soundform was created to provide a control interface for Belkin’s new category of pro audio earbuds, speakers and Airplay audio products. The app lets you personalize your sound settings, and control features such as Noise Cancelling, Hear-through, and finding lost earbuds.
The design needed to accommodate not only existing products, but be able to scale in the future to seamlessly control future Belkin audio products.
Belkin Soundform is available for download in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

As a Product Designer for Linksys, I’ve worked to bring the Velop iOS app to market, which drives the setup and control of Linksys’ flagship whole home mesh WiFi routers.
After unboxing, the Velop app then drives the setup experience for users, identifying their product and guiding them through locating, wiring, and configuration in their home.
Linksys Velop has won multiple CES Innovation Awards and is the promoted WiFi solution in Apple retail stores.
I’ve also worked on feature releases for Velop, such as Linksys Shield (Parental Controls premium offering) and Velop Aware.
Typical work as part of the User Experience team included designing UI prototypes for lab user testing and motion studies to aid developers with transitions and timing.

The Daily Blueprint serves as an in-store hub for Restoration Hardware’s associates, allowing staff scheduling, guest appointment booking, guest list management, sales goals, and CRM tools integrated with Salesforce.
Instead of handling these operations manually or being tied to a terminal in the back room, associates and management could freely manage customer queues and scheduling information from their own mobile device while on the floor.
With access to a focus group of store associates, we conducted interviews to determine what functions were most beneficial to their daily workflow, and tested prototypes on a weekly basis to help refine these features.

Developed as a tool for diamond retailers to use while helping customers decide on or compare gemstones.
The app walks the customer through five facets to help illustrate the rarity of a diamond based on its shape, carat weight, cut and clarity.
Emphasis was placed on the app being very easy to pick up and use with minimal guidance, and encourage discovery through comparing different diamond traits and seeing the real time result of different selections.

As a Product Designer for the Enterprise Digital Team, I worked with UX, Design, Engineering and Marketing teams to ideate and implement a next-generation suite of financial tools and enhancements to transamerica.com which allowed customers to more easily visualize and manage their assets.
Day to day responsibilities included building and testing high fidelity visual prototypes, creating detailed specification documents for engineering team, detailed design mockups for both desktop and mobile (native apps and responsive web), maintaining visual style guides, and data visualization (infographics or simplified graphics for on-screen comparisons).

I contracted with Southwest Gas Corporation to help reimagine this major utility company's website for the public. This included conducting discovery sessions with clients and directors of the company, and getting to the heart of the tone they wished to express through mood boards and persona exercises.
The final website compliments the useful account tools and regulatory information with a more human and community-oriented feel, with softer edges and a more helpful, conversational tone.
To ease the handoff of the design to the client, I helped create detailed website styleguides and helped with integrating existing site content into the new content management system.

Advanced Bionics makes industry-leading cochlear implant technologies that have the have the power to restore hearing and change the lives of those with severe to total hearing loss.
I've worked with AB to launch several projects aimed at both patients and hearing professionals.
The Naida CL website was created to market the capabilities of AB's flagship listening device. Customers could order and personalize their Naida device on the site choosing from multiple colors and add-on options.
The Listening Room is an online educational tool for AB device wearers and their audiologists. I worked with the client through early prototype stages building clickable wires in AxureRP and designing out the finished UI for the lessons.

As Sr. Art Director for iCrossing, I led the account for Hilton Hotels, specifically Doubletree by Hilton. I worked with Hilton to create new templates for their site for their booking engine and landing pages, as well as special events such as weddings and meetings.
Additional work included display advertising (both static and Flash/HTML5 rich media ads) custom emails, as well as work to support our UX efforts with Hilton, including persona development and presentation graphics.

Aqua Hospitality represents three hotel brands: Aqua Hotels and Resorts, Monogram Hotel Collection, and Lite Hotels. A total of 22 properties deliver unique experiences for travelers at any budget.
As the Creative Director during Aqua's rebranding effort, I was responsible for creating the online identity and responsive website designs for all three brands as well as the corporate website.
